MUMBAI: Jennifer Makhecha (Tseng, Hsiao-Li), Chairperson, Taiwan Chamber of Commerce Mumbai has once again been appointed as Associate Advisor of the ‘Overseas Community Affair Council’ in India by the Taiwan government. Ambassador Baushuan Ger, Representative, Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC) in India awarded Ms. Makhecha with the certificate in Mumbai on Tuesday. He was also accompanied by the Taiwan minister Xie on this occasion. “I will continue to assist Taiwan-India collaboration and the Taiwanese community in India officially for the coming two years. I am very much moved and grateful to the representative office (TECC) and the committee for their support,†Ms. Jennifer stated Jennifer Makhecha who is also a board member and advisor with the Committee on the Asia Pacific Industrial Cooperation (APIC), a joint trade body floated by Taiwan Economics Ministry and top corporate groups to promote trade and business between Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries including India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, was certified and honoured with this responsibility for the first time in 2020 by the Taiwan government.
